Clubhouse Renovation

Established in 1929, Midvale Country Club is the only club in town where you can look out over the course and enjoy a view of the Rochester skyline. In undertaking this major renovation project, we dedicated ourselves to upgrading the main clubhouse in a manner consistent with the exemplary design of the course. The new rear façade has been completely redesigned with new windows and awnings. Improvements to the main entrance unify the overall image of the building with added screening of the rooftop mechanical units.

The interior of the building features a new and improved plan that simplifies access to the major member areas while providing a high level of security and comfort. The new banquet room, bar room, grill room and private dining room offer variety in dining with elegantly tailored surroundings. Significant upgrades to the kitchen, lobby, locker area and service areas will enhance the experience of every member and guest.

We worked closely with the Club’s Board of Governors and Renovation Committee to develop a project appropriate in size and scope for the available resources and schedule. The new clubhouse design is a prestigious symbol of the club’s vision of the future and will assist the club in fostering a strong, loyal membership.

When Midvale selected us to design their new club, their membership was at 198 members and falling rapidly. By the grand opening of the newly renovated club the membership increased to 295 with their cap being 300. In addition, by the time of opening, all function rooms were fully booked for several months.
