Construction Administration

During the Construction Administration (CA) phase, we are concerned with the contractor meeting or exceeding our standards for construction, communication and adherence to the agreed upon schedules.  There is a significant amount of paperwork involved and our CA department excels at prompt turn around with contractors paperwork such as shop drawings and requests for information.

We make site visits to meet with all parties involved to make sure we are all on the same page and to work out potential problems.  Problems and issues will arise no matter how much you plan.  Our philosophy is to solve it and move on.  At the end of the CA phase, we create a “punch list” of items that need to be corrected or completed by the contractor.  All the tasks that we perform during the CA phase should keep this list short.  Staying in constant communication during this phase saves time and money and ensures higher quality project.
