During one of the earlier Lavery Dorsey tournaments, I remember fellow committee member Marty Moll asking me what was my most challenging and rewarding building ever? I said, “Chipper, it couldn’t get any closer than the main entrance at Fisher.” His quizzical look led me on to explain that the main entrance sign is actually a disguised heated building. The county water authority had a rule that a “hot house” building must be built no farther than 100′ from the water service entrance for specialized equipment. Well, this happens to be right beneath my favorite “building.”
