Oak Hill Country Club
To satisfy the requirement of a growing membership, the Tudor style clubhouse, originally constructed in the 1920’s was extensively renovated and additions were added to accommodate a formal dining room, private dining rooms, and a grille room, all serviced by a state-of-the-art cooking facility.
As the liaison architect for Chris Consultants of Irving Texas, Mossien Associates secured necessary local approvals and were in charge of code analysis, construction administration, and building fit-out. While adhering to a very compressed schedule, the project was completed on budget and on time through our day-to-day involvement with the construction team from LeChase Construction.
Major redesign of all existing engineered systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection, resulted in greatly expanded services, better comfort control and far less operating and maintenance expenses.
Improved accessibility to the clubhouse’s multiple floor levels was achieved with the incorporation of two lifts and three elevators into the renovation. The placement and design of these elements was crucial to maintaining the integrity of the classic Tudor building exterior.
